Sometimes when you are wanting to deactivate a person in the system, a pop up appears telling you that the individual cannot be deactivated. The cause of this is often listed within this pop up, however, it will only list on of possibly a few causes. Below are a list of things that frequently cause issues when deactivating records;
- The person has a Valid Certificate or SoR
Fix: Make sure you revoke the individuals certificate or complete a full handover of responsibilities
- The person is set as a default respondent for an assessment question
Fix: Go to Assessments -> Fit and Proper/Attestation -> Manage sections and questions -> Set Default respondents and remove the individual from the questions they are assigned to.
- The person is a part of a delegation or handover
Fix: Complete the handover/Delegation they are a part.
- The person appears on a Senior Managers SoR as a direct report
Fix: Within the individual profile, go to the three line dropdown menu next to their name and select View details. In this page, it will show you individuals the individual is linked to, these names are links that will take you straight to their profile. You can then remove the individual from their SoR by making an amendment.
