Summary of changes
Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover - Submission date emails
Submission due emails will now be sent twice for temporary covers without submission dates. This affects draft and active temporary covers.
Emails will be sent based off the submission period set in the ‘Administration’ tab. For example, the default submission period is 12 weeks, so a reminder email will be sent 3 weeks and 1 week before the temporary cover is due. The start date of this timer defaults to the created date, (or start date, if one was set) of the temporary cover.
There is a corresponding email template, ‘My temporary cover is awaiting submission’, which can be assigned to a group email or turned off if not required.

Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover active count
When viewing a temporary cover that is either draft or in an active state, the temporary cover list pages and summary page will display the number of days and weeks the temporary cover has been running.

When the temporary cover has ended the temporary cover list page and summary page will then display the total amount of time the temporary cover lasted.

Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover - Submission date widget
When selecting to create a new dashboard or add a new widget to a dashboard, there will be an option to add a ‘Temporary cover regulatory submission’ widget. Multiple instances of the widget can be added to a dashboard.

The name of the widget can be edited, along with the submission periods shown in red, amber and yellow.
The submission period default settings are;
Min range – 2 weeks prior to the submission due date
Med range – 6 weeks prior to the submission due date
Max range – 12 weeks prior to the submission due date
The widget can also be filtered by a firm or a selection of firms as required.

Once added to the dashboard, the widget will display the overall number of temporary covers that do not have a submission date. Hovering the mouse over a submission period will display the number of temporary covers within that category.
An additional segment of ‘Overdue’ will be displayed if a temporary cover has exceeded the specified submission period.

Selecting a submission period will display each temporary cover on a list page that can then be accessed if required.

Each temporary cover will display the name of the firm, start date, expected end date, extended expected end date and original expected end date where applicable. The statement type is also displayed.
Where a start and expected end date has not been entered, the field will show as ‘Not set’ until a date is entered.
Where a start date has not been entered, the widget will use the created date to calculate which submission period the temporary cover will be displayed in.
When a submission date has been entered the temporary cover will no longer be displayed in the widget.
Reform Phase 1 - SM Conduct Rules for covering person
When an active temporary cover is in place and the covering individual is not a senior manager, when the covering individual is linked to a user and they log into the system and view their conduct rules widget, they will see their default conduct rules, along with the senior manager conduct rules.

When the temporary cover has been handed back the senior manager conduct rules will no longer be displayed.
Reform Phase 1 - Increase time for Directory changes - Change notifications
When an individual's ‘role end date’ is changed, the submission period remains at 7 working days (excluding bank holidays).
Any other changes will now have a submission period of 20 working days (excluding bank holidays).
The change notifications pending/overdue submissions counts will take these new submission periods into account.
The tooltip on the change notifications page has been updated to reflect this change.
