Summary of changes
Individual - Update employment status logic
The default employment statuses are now editable fields whether they are in use or not. However, if the field is updated, as with the custom fields, it will update for every individual with that status throughout IAR. Therefore, any overnight imports will need to be aligned with the new employment status value so that a change exception isn’t generated for the individuals on the exceptions page.

The ‘Employed by’ field has been made available for all employment statuses and is no longer mandatory on the ‘Fixed term’ option.
If any individuals currently have the ‘Fixed term’ employment status, then the value set in the ’Employed by' field will remain unchanged. For all other employment statuses, a value can now be entered either manually or via the individual/overnight imports.

Key Indicator - allow data from multiple IAR instances in one data source
It is now possible to share key indicator source data across multiple IAR instances.
When sites are linked and a new key indicator, breach type or section is created they will be added to all the linked sites.
The names can be changed on any site and will not affect the name entered on the other sites. However, if the key indicator, breach type or section are removed they WILL be removed from all sites.
When creating a breach record, it will only be visible on the site it is created on and will display the key indicator, breach section & types as it appears in the site it is created in.
Show SMFs on the assessment summary page
Senior manager functions will now appear on an individual’s assessment summary page.
Senior manager functions that are on draft and live SoRs will be listed.

Ireland – Update PRs - remove 35, 36 & 37
Prescribed responsibilities 35, 36 & 37 have been removed. They will be removed automatically from draft SoRs. If they are on a live SoR, they will be removed when the SoR is amended and will not be available in the handover process.
Ireland - Update PCF-32
The name of PCF-32 has been updated from ‘Breach Managers in Ireland’ to ‘Branch Managers in Ireland’. Any live statements of responsibilities that contain the function will display the old name until the statement of responsibilities has been amended in some way.
Ireland - Remove CBI only approval option
The ‘CBI only approval’ option has been removed when approving a PCF. The regulator type will default to ‘CBI approval’.

Jurisdictions other than Ireland will be unaffected by the change.
Change session expiry notification
The session expiry notification will now start to flash and turn red when a user has 1 hour remaining in the session and they are automatically logged off.

Logging out and back into IAR at any time will reset the user's session time back to 7 hours.
Show/hide MRM sections
The edit document design page on the MRM now has the following additional ‘Display’ options. These extra options will be toggled on by default but can be toggled off as required in the usual way.

MRM checklist additions
The MRM list page has been updated to include a list of individuals with unapproved senior manager functions.
The ‘Unapproved SMFs’ option will be listed with the other records under the ‘Latest management responsibilities map’ section.

The list can be expanded, and it will display links to all individuals’ statement of responsibilities that have SMFs without approval recorded.
Handover - Button for full handover to individual
When starting a handover, it is now possible to select a single individual to handover to.
On the ‘Details’ step there is a new option title ‘Do you want to select a single individual to handover to?’

If ‘No’ is selected, the handover will proceed in the usual way and no changes will be seen.
If ‘Yes’ is selected, and you click on ‘Continue’ a new ‘Individual’ page will be displayed. The drop-down option will list all the eligible individuals who are available to hand over to. Once the required individual is selected it is possible to continue through the wizard.
On the subsequent pages, and where the selected individual is eligible, their name will be pre-populated as the selected individual for all functions, responsibilities, committees and direct reports.

If for some reason the selected individual is not eligible for a particular entity, the function or responsibility will not be pre-selected and you will be required to select the appropriate option and individual manually.

It is possible to change any of the pre-populated fields for a different individual if required by either returning to the ‘Individuals’ tab or navigating back to the required tabs and changing the required fields manually.
The handover wizard can then be completed and managed in the usual way.
