Background Screening Configuration
An overview of the background screening feature in IAR

Navigating to Background Screening

To configure background screening, first click Manage from the main menu and select Background Screening from the dropdown.

 

 

Available Options

From the right-hand side menu, you can perform the following actions:

  • Add Frequency Configuration
  • Update Recipients
  • Import
  • Export Current Data
  • View Configuration Audit History
  • View Recipient Audit History

 

 

Add Frequency Configuration

Selecting Add Frequency Configuration allows you to create a new frequency for background screening.

 

  • Naming and Filters: Provide a name for the configuration and use filters to specify firms, positions, regimes, departments, and locations.
  • Set Frequency: Define the frequency for the background screening in terms of days, weeks, months, or years.
  • Notice Period: Specify how far in advance you'd like to be notified before the screening is due.

 

Update Recipients

The Update Recipients feature enables you to set who should receive notifications when a background screening notice period is triggered.

 


Recipients can include:

  • The individual undergoing the screening.
  • The individual’s line manager.
  • The individual’s regulatory manager.
  • The individual’s senior manager.
  • Other system users, such as admins.

 

Import/Export Current Data

The Import/Export feature provides the ability to manage background screening dates in bulk.

  • Export: View all individuals’ current background screening dates.
  • Import: Bulk update and import background screening dates for individuals.

 

 

Audit Histories

Audit histories provide transparency by allowing you to track changes and see who made them.

  • Configuration Audit History: Review changes made to background screening configurations.
  • Recipient Audit History: Review changes made to the recipient list for background screening notifications.

 

 

This structure ensures your background screening process is streamlined and easy to manage.
