Issue with functions showing multiple times against the individual FCA area

When viewing the FCA directory for an individual who has a role, a new icon will be displayed.

If the individual has no duplicate roles and the icon is selected the following overlay will be displayed.

Where the individual has duplicate roles showing as current

Or duplicate roles that are showing as current and previous.

When the merge role icon is selected, the ‘Merge roles’ overlay is displayed.

All additional current and previous instances of the role will appear in the overlay.  Select the role that is to be merged with and retained.

PLEASE NOTE: Where multiple roles are displayed, it is important that the correct instance of the role is selected. Once the confirm option has been selected, it CANNOT be undone.

Where there are multiple instances of the same role, the process can be repeated until all the duplicates of the role have been merged.

Once merged the duplicate records will no longer be displayed.
