Policy Exceptions
An overview of managing policy exceptions in PRM.

Raising a Policy Exception

When policy exceptions are enabled, you can raise a new policy exception from the individual's policy report. The exception can be raised for one or more activities within the policy and a rationale is required:

 

 

 

Once the exception is submitted, an email is sent to the relevant parties, notifying them that the policy has been raised and this will then be required to be granted. The exception is then logged and tracked on the Policy Exception page, where its current state is displayed.

 

Viewing Policy Exceptions

The policy exception page can be found from Policy > Policy Exceptions. The table shows detailed information, including the policy name, subject, current stage, dates, actions taken and allows you to view individual exceptions:
