Start a Delegation
Steps on how to start a delegation

To start a delegation go to the individual profile of the person who will delegate their responsibilities to someone else and click Delegation.

 

 

Click Start delegation.

 

 

Complete the information on the Details tab of the wizard as required then click continue.

 

 

Select individuals to delegate responsibilities to and enter details and review period if required. Continue through any further tabs of items to delegate and click continue.

On the Additional details tab enter the Delegation summary and Accountability summary to continue.

 

On the Reviewers tab set any that are required or select No reviewer.

 

 

Review the summary before clicking complete to place the delegation into draft.

The draft delegation will now appear on the delegator's list and can be accessed for editing by clicking.

 

 

While in draft, all elements of the delegation can be updated using the buttons on the right hand side. Documentation can be added at this point. Once the delegation is ready click Continue to move it to active.

 

 

You will be prompted to select whether the delegation requires approval in the system, or not. If you select No give a reason and confirm the delegation start date, then click Confirm delegation to make it active.

 

If you select Yes all those involved will be notified and asked to review. There is then an option to allow the delegation to activate automatically, or not once the reviews are complete. Click Notify individuals to continue.

 

 

Once any reviews have been completed the delegation shows as active for that individual.
