Summary of changes
Remove documentation folders & files
It is now possible to remove a document folder that contains files.
When viewing the documentation folders on the individuals settings page, all folders will now have the remove option enabled regardless of whether they contain files or not.
When a folder that contains files is selected to be deleted the confirmation box will require the name of the folder to be entered before the folder can be removed.
PLEASE NOTE: When the folder is removed, ALL the files contained in the folder will also be removed and CANNOT be recovered.

When ‘Remove’ is selected, the folder and all its contents will be permanently removed and will no longer be visible on the Documentation folders tab on the individual settings page or in the individuals Documentation folder.
Any assessment questions that are set to automatically file documents to the removed folder will be updated and no longer be set to automatically file documents.

UK Regulation update: SMF16 no longer applicable for ISPVs
SMF16 has been removed from any firms of type 'UK ISPV firm – Insurance’, as per regulation updates.
Pre-existing ‘Live’ statements of responsibilities will retain SMF16. The SMF will be removed from any statements of responsibilities in draft form, and any handovers that are in progress.
Other firm types will not be affected by this change.
Show directory fields on a Certificate PDF
FCA directory fields can be added to the certificate PDF. The options to toggle on/off various directory fields is located on the ‘Set up certification’ page, under the ‘Certificate defaults’ tab.

Any combination of FCA directory activities, accredited bodies, and customer engagements can be added to the certificate.
For any individuals that have an issued certificate, the FCA fields can be added by amending the certificate and then reissuing.
Overnight Individual Import - Ignore import records
When viewing the ‘Overnight individual import’ exceptions page the records flagged as updates will now display a check box on the left side. Additions and invalid imports will not show a check box.

When the check box is selected against any record(s) the ‘Ignore selected record(s)’ button will be enabled.

When the option is selected a confirmation overlay will be displayed and the reason for the record(s) being ignored can be added. The same reason will apply to all selected records. If a different reason is required for any record, then it will have be selected and ignored separately.

When the ‘Ignore record(s)’ option is selected the record(s) will be removed from the exceptions page.
Provided the individuals import record does not change in anyway, the next time the overnight import is generated the individual will not be shown again.
When an import record has been ignored it will be displayed on the ‘Ignored individuals’ tab.
The individuals name, email address, ignored date, the user who ignored the record and the ignored reason if added.

Any record on the ignored page can be removed by selecting the check box(s) and clicking on the ‘Remove selected ignored record(s)’ option. After the next overnight import has run the records will then reappear on the exceptions page on the overnight individual import tab.
Be able to search for respondents - 'View current tasks' for individuals/users
Admin and auditor users will see a new option for ‘View current tasks’ on the individual summary and user profile pages.
The button to reach the 'View current tasks' page can be found in the right-hand sidebar.

The ’View current tasks’ page includes tabs for key areas of the IAR system; attestation, delegation, fit & proper, good repute, handover, responsibilities statement, statement of responsibilities and temporary cover.

Each tab will include a brief summary of any tasks that the individual/user is due to complete, and the status of the task. Each task will include a link to the relevant page on the system.
Certificate - Regenerate certificate PDF using latest configuration
When viewing a valid issued certificate a new option of ‘Regenerate certificate PDF’ will be displayed.

Regenerating a certificate will retain the certificate data, but will use the latest certificate configurations set on the certificate defaults page.
It will also, where required, include FCA directory data depending on what is set on the certificate defaults page and the directory data added for the individual.
When the ‘Regenerate certificate PDF’ is selected a confirmation overlay will be displayed which will include an option to add FCA directory data to the certificate.
If ‘No’ is selected the certificate will regenerate using the latest certificate configurations only.

If ‘Yes’ is selected a date field will also be displayed. Enter the required date and the FCA directory data that was current on the selected date will be added to the Certificate.

Individual Import - Update existing individual pre-selects some import values
When an individual or overnight import includes changes to an individual's data and the user selects to view the changes on the individual import change page the changes are highlighted on the page as usual.

However, if they select the ‘Update existing individual’ option, the fields being updated will no longer pre-populate the changed data. The data will be left as it was allowing the user to manually update some or all the changes as required.

This is particularly helpful when only some of the changes being imported are to be updated in IAR which will then allow for any none required changes to be ignored on the import exceptions page.
