Summary of changes
Reform Phase 1 – Temporary Cover – Optional temporary cover period
In UK jurisdictions, the default temporary cover period has been updated to no longer be applicable.

All other jurisdictions remain unaffected.
Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover - Expected end date
For UK jurisdictions, when starting the temporary cover wizard has been updated so that when a start date is selected, an expected end date is no longer automatically added and is now an optional field.

When the temporary cover is ready to be confirmed, the ‘Expected end date’ field is optional

The option to extend the temporary cover will only be available if an end date has been set.
Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover - Optional temporary cover submission period
A new option of ‘Temporary cover submission period’ is now present on the administration page. For UK jurisdictions the option will default to 12 weeks and will be empty for all non-uk jurisdictions.
Reform Phase 1 - Temporary Cover - Submission date
When the temporary cover submission period has been set, the first page of the temporary cover wizard will now display an optional field to enter a date.

All existing temporary covers will display a new option of ‘Set submission date’ on the summary page.
Which when selected will display an overlay where a date no greater than the current date can be entered.

Once entered the date will be displayed on the temporary cover summary page and certificate.


Reform phase 1 – Update MRM temporary cover text
The temporary cover text has been updated in newly generated management responsibilities maps to ‘Covered by (individual)’. (previously this was ‘Cover under 12-week rule by (individual)).
