Create a draft Handover
Steps for creating a draft Handover

To start a handover go to the individual profile of the person who will be handing over responsibilities. They must have a live SoR. Click the Handovers button.

Any existing handover will be shown. To start a new handover click Start handover.

Enter the details for the handover and click continue.

Any SMFs from the SoR will display on the SMF tab. For a full handover either Select an individual from the drop down, or Remove for each of the SMFs. For a partial handover where SMFs remain with the holder select No change. Once all the SMFs have a selection click continue.

Any responsibilities will show on the Responsibilities tab. For a full handover Select an individual from the drop down, Mark not applicable, or Share with another individual. All options allow you to enter a narrative/Shared reason where applicable. For a partial handover where the responsibility remains with the individual click No change. Once all the responsibilities have a selection click continue.

The same as the above for SMFs and Responsibilities applies for any Direct reports shown on the Direct reports tab.

Any reviewers for the handover can be set on the reviewers tab before clicking continue.

The Summary tab gives the details of everything set in the handover. Should there be any need for amendments at any time during the handover wizard the Previous/Continue buttons can be used to navigate back through the tabs.

When all the details in the wizard are correct click Complete to set the handover to Draft.

A draft handover is created. At this point any amendments can be made using the buttons on the right, the handover can be cancelled, or click Continue to Implement the handover.
